About Us

Lauderdale Veterinary Specialists, under the directorship of Dr. Ira M. Zaslow and a staff of board certified veterinary specialists, opened its doors in March 2011 with the goal of filling the needs of  pet owners in east Fort Lauderdale and surrounding Broward, Miami-Dade and Palm Beach  counties.  Its modern emergency and critical care facility, housing state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging equipment, is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.  Fully staffed ’round the clock with experienced emergency doctors and veterinary technicians, Lauderdale Veterinary Specialists welcomes referrals from local veterinarians.
