Dr. Ira Zaslow, founder and medical director at Lauderdale Veterinary Specialists, recently returned from the International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Symposium in Washington D.C. While there, he presented the much coveted Ira M. Zaslow Distinguished Service Award to Dr. Jennifer Devey.
The award was established over 25 years ago and named after one of the founding fathers of the Emergency and Critical Care Society.
Dr. Devey, a colleague and close friend, was instrumental in the formation and planning of LVS. Jennifer is an international lecturer and Lab Coordinator for IVECCS.
She is a graduate of Ontario Veterinary College and became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 1996.
