This week LVS has sent four staff members to the annual meeting of the International Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Symposium in Indianapolis, Indiana.  Two have gone to gain knowledge, one will be delivering lectures and one will be an honored guest.  Dr. Ira Zaslow, Medical Director at LVS, is a chartered Diplomat and one of the founding fathers of the Critical Care Society.  He and all the Chartered Diplomats will be recognized for their foresight and efforts in organizing the society and college.  Dr. Lynel Tocci, who is boarded in Critical Care Medicine, will be presenting two lectures on blood transfusion medicine at the meeting.   Dr. Stavros Pavlides, staff emergency clinician, and anesthesia specialty nurse Amy Liesenfelt will be attending daily lectures for CE credits and acquiring the newest information and techniques.
