The Surgery Service at LVS is under the direction of Dr. Sarah Evans and Stacy Kelley her chief surgical nurse, The two offer a comprehensive range of advanced knowledge, technical skills and experience for their patients The surgical suites are equipped with the latest in modern surgical equipment and advanced monitoring capabilities to insure both the success of the surgery and the safety of your pet. Dr. Evan’s range of capabilities covers a variety of procedures including soft-tissue, orthopedic and neurosurgery.
Dr. Evans is certified to perform the previously-patented TPLO procedure for cranial cruciate ligament (ACL) deficient stifles in dogs. She also performs extrahepatic portosystemic liver shunt ligations; perineal urethrostomies for blocked cats; arytenoid lateralizations commonly in Labradors and a variety of other intra and extra abdominal and thoracic procedures in dogs and cats.
